What's on Tap RI: September 25–27

Oktoberfest season hits Rhode Island taprooms this weekend: two nights of it in Newport, a stein-hoisting contest in Providence, and a Rocktoberfest in Bristol with two bands and a brat line. Add a brand-new Pawtucket brewery booking its first-ever band and a clam-cake Saturday in South Kingstown, and every corner of the state has a reason to get out.

⭐ If you only pick one: Pivotal Brewing — Saturday's 5th annual Rocktoberfest runs 12–10: two bands, pretzels and brats, and this year's Rocktoberfest Märzen.
