FOLLOW UP to the Big Creek Clean up!

Dear Neighbors and Friends,
Grace and I are delighted to announce the Big Creek Clean up was a resounding success! With just over 21 volunteers and just over 2 hours we were able to remove approximately 2000 pounds of trash from our beloved creek! Please take a look at the pics taken as we worked:
I had no idea we could get this much done in a couple of hours. But what really surprised me was how much fun and enthusiasm you all brought to this event! Thanks to all of you for coming out. Special Thanks to Mountains to Sea Trail group, The Trashy Ladies, Rewild Earth, Town of Hillsborough, Appropriate Sanitation Institute for co organizing, Red Eye, and The Mill for permissions. We plan to do this again soon as we continue to get permission from private homeowners along the creek. Please reach out to me if you would like to join our creek clean up team to organize regular future clean ups. As you guys can see we have a TON of work to do! Looking forward to seeing you all next time!
