newsletter updates and serializing audiobooks.
This month is going to be a slow month for me, partially because I had a bunch of offline stuff happen that I don’t want to get into, but yes, I'm okay, just taking care of a disabled body in the winter time, but I've honestly been just writing to people via email all month long and haven't really been Blogging all that much. Hah!
I've also been doing a lot of reading as well! I think this is a month that just needed to be for me, you know?
Updates! I have updates.
I've been working on giving you all more choices with the newsletter. At the moment, Buttondown isn't quite modular regarding what exactly I want to do, yet, so I got to do a bunch of testing and testing and testing and then some to make it all smooth and seamless on the back end.
So, today, one update that should make you all happy.
You get to choose if you want to get podcast updates!
If you want to get emails about new podcast episodes, be sure to check the box that says, opt into podcast updates, at this link. If this isn't checked, you won’t get podcast episode updates.
If you still are having trouble, contact me and I can change it for you.
Lastly, speaking of podcasts, I serialize all my audiobooks on my podcast feed. Why do I do this? Because I hate Audible’s pernicious trapping with DRM. You paid for it, you should be able to listen whenever and wherever you want to listen without restrictions! This is why I promote people buying my books on places such as Libro FM over Audible wherever possible. I hate DRM. You should be able to transfer your purchased audiobook files without penalty.
To get all my serialized audiobooks, you need to contribute any amount, monthly, to my podcast tip jar. You'll get a private RSS feed you can use in any podcast app.
In March, I'll serialize Pass the Salt. In April, I'll serialize Off the Grid.
Thank you to all that have recommended me and my writing! Continue to recommend me to everyone and everyone they hate and everyone they love!
Until next time,
Robert.
