This Week in Weird 17th July
It’s been another warm week here at Weird Jelly towers. Hope you all have been trying to keep cool and in the shade.
It was Wimbledon last week and I bet all the players are glad they didn’t have to play in the longest tennis match ever. That honour goes to a mens first round singles match between John Isner and Nicholas Mahut in 2010. The match lasted 11 hours and 5 minutes played over three days.. It was won by Isner 6-4, 3-6, 6-7, 7-6, 70-68.
Of course the big news in International sport this year is that the Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling competition was won for the third time in a row by German Youtuber Tom Kopke https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c98rrde2d9no
Don’t think there has been any other notable sporting events that need talking about this week.
The Weird Jelly 3-D Printer has had a bit of an hiccup this week. It’s waiting for a spare part to come from Austria and when that is fitted we can’t wait to try out new Fillament from Fillamentive https://www.filamentive.com/ more of that when it happens.
Should be a bit cooler next week. so have fun and stay Weird.
