As a re-introduction: I’m Kim. I was a 2023-2024 John S. Knight fellow and I spent my year studying and researching representation in media of complex identities. What are complex identities? Kids of immigrants. Third culture kids. Mixed-race or bi-racial folks. Anyone who holds two or more identities at once.

I’ve been sitting on this list and idea for two years now, and I’ve decided it’s time to hit the button.

Next week, you’ll get my first edition. It’ll introduce what I’m here to do, and why I’m doing it.
