Sensei Notes #08 - I'm back (and Pascal is trending)
Hey!
I'm (almost) back. 🎉
After 3 years in Japan, I just moved to the US, Florida specifically. Closing down everything properly over there and setting up life on the other side of the world took way longer than expected. But I'm finally getting settled, and content is coming back soon. Thanks for sticking around. 🙏

Now, let's talk about what's been happening in the 3D web world.
🔥 Pascal hit the GitHub trending page
The project I've been building, a Sims-like 3D home editor with React Three Fiber and WebGPU, spent several days trending on GitHub and we're closing in on 10k stars.

A ton of new features landed recently, but the most exciting one is the early launch of the AI vibe-create feature: describe a room, and the AI builds it for you. Still early, but it's already fun to play with.
Feel free to check it out and contribute. 👷
🎓 Andrew Woan, one to follow
If you're not already watching Andrew Woan on YouTube, fix that. He does long-form tutorials covering both Three.js and Blender, exactly the kind of deep-dive content that's hard to find.
His latest video is a great one if you don't know what to dive in based on your level: Three.js and Blender career paths & tips, plus hidden gems and young talent to follow.
Worth watching whether you're just getting started or already deep in the ecosystem. Watch it here →
He also helped me prepare a free open-source character creator to replace Ready Player Me. More on that in the coming weeks. 👀
That's it for this one. Good to be back in your inbox.
Happy coding 🧑💻
