DMZ's Tourniquet Gets You Up Once, Then Caps You at 100 HP Until You Find a Medkit
Infinity Ward detailed how revives work in Modern Warfare 4's DMZ, the Call of Duty extraction mode. Every operator deploys with a Tourniquet self-revive, but using it leaves you wounded with max health cut from 150 to 100. Only a medkit cures the wound and recharges the Tourniquet, and going down again while wounded means no self-revive. Extra self-revives can be looted or printed. DMZ early access opens October 20 for digital pre-orders.
Player impact: Solo players get one mistake per raid, and the second one ends the run. Medkits just became the most valuable thing in your bag, so loot them before guns.

Arena Breakout: Infinite Bans 10,848 Cheaters in Two Weeks, Up From 8,788
MoreFun Studios' October 14 ban report for Arena Breakout: Infinite covers September 28 to October 11. It lists 10,848 cheating bans, including 3,706 ten-year bans and 1,744 device or IP bans, up from 8,788 in the previous two-week report. The studio also confiscated Koen (the in-game currency) 6,505 times from players who queued with cheaters, and paid back 89,618 victims a combined 116.91 billion Koen.
Player impact: More bans means either better detection or more cheaters, and the numbers alone cannot tell you which. If you lost a kit to a cheater, check your mail for Koen compensation.

Siege Bans Over 50,000 Accounts in a Day, Its Biggest Ban Wave Ever
Ubisoft banned more than 50,000 Rainbow Six Siege accounts on October 14, which Siege.gg calls the largest ban wave in the game's history. The accounts were tied to account sharing, account selling, or dodging earlier bans. The timing lines up with Legend Division, a new ranked playlist that opens October 15 for Champion-rank players only, with extra safety checks Ubisoft says will keep cheating services out.
Player impact: If you bought a boosted or shared account, it may already be gone. Champion players finally get a lobby Ubisoft is promising to keep clean, and the first week will show whether that holds.
WARDOGS Season 2 Is Live, and Level 4 Helmets Now Muffle Your Own Hearing
BULKHEAD's Season 2 patch notes for WARDOGS, its large-scale multiplayer shooter in Steam early access, landed October 14 ahead of the October 15 launch. Level 3 armor now blocks 50% of damage (down from 55%) and level 4 blocks 60% (down from 65%), and the level 4 helmet now muffles audio and narrows your field of view. Role level 20 drops from 250,000 XP to 111,500, and mortars jump from 150 to 600 supplies.
Player impact: Heavy armor stops being the default. Expect faster kills, fewer mortar spammers, and a much quicker climb to your role unlocks this season.

Valorant 13.08 Pulls Ascent and Split From Ranked and Brings Back Bind and Corrode
Riot's Valorant patch 13.08, released October 13, rotates the competitive map pool: Bind and Corrode return, and Ascent and Split leave. Corrode gets faster defender rotations, a metal mid half-wall moved one metre out, and a new A-site plant zone. A new private Map Rating scores you from 0 to 500 on each map in Competitive and Premier, with grades from C to S, and everyone starts fresh.
Player impact: Your comfort picks are gone from ranked, so warm up Bind before you queue. The new per-map rating will tell you exactly which map is dragging your rank down.

PUBG 43.2 Puts Six Motor Gliders on Every Map and Gives Ranked the Same Cars as Normal
KRAFTON's PUBG: Battlegrounds Update 43.2 went live on PC on October 14, with console following October 22. Every map now spawns six Motor Gliders (two fixed, four random). Normal and Ranked now share the same vehicle types and counts on Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Vikendi, Deston, and Rondo. Xbox Is Asking Players Whether Fallout, Elder Scrolls, and Minecraft Should Go Console Exclusive
Windows Central's Jez Corden reported that Microsoft is surveying Xbox Insiders about making major franchises exclusive to Xbox consoles again, with Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and Minecraft named. One scenario would make every future Xbox franchise exclusive except Call of Duty; for Minecraft, PlayStation and Nintendo versions would stop being sold or updated. PC would not be affected. Microsoft has made no decision yet.
Player impact: If you play Bethesda games on PS5, nothing changes today, but the next Fallout's platform list is now an open question. Minecraft players on Switch and PlayStation have the most to lose.
