Progress!

I’ve made a lot of progress in the last week on No Raccoons in Hell even though it was also the first week of the kickstarter for Tina and Ellie Take the Case! I’ll post about the kickstarter first and then give updates on No Raccoons in Hell!

Kickstarter

Here are some notes on my Tina and Ellie Take the Case kickstarter:

1. Kickstarter categorized my project as NSFW despite the fact that that the page says explicitly (ha ha) that it isn't porn… even though some of the characters work for a porn company. Will that impact my visibility on kickstarter? I don't know. That is unclear. I'm assuming they won't favor me in their algorithm and that I need to do all the promotion for this one, so I'm going to be in hardcore self-promo mode on it.

2. We are at almost $1900 of the $2500 I'm asking for, so I'm optimistic that it will fund!

3. I have added some add-ons to the campaign: three comics with blank covers that I have drawn on. The Walking Dead, Spawn, and X-Force:

The X-Force one is a reference to an infamous page in X-Force #6.

I do have some other blank covers floating around, and I'm thinking about doing some more of these. If any of you are interested in something, let me know and I'll pull together a list of what I've got. Off the top of my head, I've got more of these, some Batmans, some Supermans, and a Flash. Oh, I think I have an Elvira as well.

No Raccoons but Three Pages

While it’s a bit early to say definitively that I have gotten my groove back, I can state the fact that I have finished three new pages of No Raccoons in Hell part two in a week, and am already halfway through the line art on the next page.
