Hey everyone! I've been dealing with life outside of comics but things are moving along in a way that I'll be able to resume drawing comics in November. I am very happy about this. In the meantime, I have seized what moments I've been able to and done some drawings. I've put some of those drawings into a couple of new Style & Fashion zines, which I'll be debuting at Zine Machine this Sunday, so let's talk about that event first:
ZINE MACHINE
I've done a very small amount of shows this year, and unless something very convenient pops up at the last minute, Zine Machine will be my last show of the year. It's a fun event in downtown Durham, NC. I always enjoy myself at Zine Machine, and usually make pretty good money, too. I hope to see some of you who are local there!

Now in its 9th year, the Zine Machine Printed Matter Festival brings together over 75 vendors offering zines, comics, prints, photos, handmade books, posters, stickers, and more. Often called the largest printed matter festival in North Carolina, this free event supports local and regional artists and small presses. Open to all. A great opportunity to browse, buy, and collect independent printed work.

STYLE & FASHION VOLUME 2
You may recall my previous Style & Fashion mini-zines, each of which were made from a single sheet of paper:
I am now moving on to Style & Fashion volume 2, which will be the same size as 20 First Dates, Peeks & Valleys, Previously in Meeting Comics, etc, etc.
These will be similar to the previous Style & Fashion zines in that they will feature drawings I've done of Meeting Comics characters. They'll just be a little fancier. Each of these will be 24 pages plus covers. They'll include drawings done with marker, watercolor, and colored pencils, which I've been working with lately. The cover figures above are ink and colored pencil drawings.
I'm going to put together a few of these for Zine Machine this weekend, then I'll assemble more and will send them to any patreon at a tier that gets them physical goods ($5/month and up).

Here are a few more drawings I've done since my last post. Some, and maybe all of them will be printed in the new zines. I'll have a bunch of original art like this available at Zine Machine!
