MEETING COMICS

Hello again! My life has continued to intrude on my comic making, but things have improved so much in the last few weeks for me that I am now back to where I left off on NO RACCOONS IN HELL: reworking a page I had mostly drawn into two pages because it was rushed.

COMIC ARTS RICHMOND

A drawing of Val and the text:
Meeting Comics will be at COMIC ARTS RICHMOND
March 21, 2026 12-5pm richmond virginia

Like the image says, my next appearance will be at Comic Arts Richmond, March 21, 2026 from noon until 5pm at Basic City Beer Co in Richmond, VA!

Comics! Books! Stickers! Original art! Perhaps more!

ART

Below are some recent sketches. Some of Meeting Comics ladies, some of fashion I've observed in real life (filtered through my mind and memory because I didn't draw any of them the day I saw them), and a comic about music.

RECENT MEETING COMICS DOODLES

A little drawing of Tori and Val
A little drawing of Tina and Ellie
A little sketch of Val in a JAWS shirt but instead of JAWS it says BALLS and the shark is heading up toward some balls rather than a swimmer
A notebook sketch of Tori and Val in the 90s

RECENT OBSERVED FASHION DRAWINGS

A drawing of a lady in a black dress over a puffy shirt with a light checkered or lined pattern plus heels. She's holding her phone in front of her with both hands as she walks
A sketch of two women. One is wearing a plaid mini skirt suit and heels the same color as her skin and holding a cigarette in one hand and the handle of a rolling block file box on the other. The other, standing behind her is dressed more conservatively and turtleneck, matching jacket and skirt, and flats.
a color sketch of a lady in a flowy dress in blue and dark red pattern, white purse, and white boots, and her teen daughter with headphones, t-shirt, ripped jeans, and some comfort shoes

A COMIC IN WHICH I HAVE AN IMAGINED CONVERSATION WITH A REAL DUDE

A comic strip. I see a young man playing guitar outdoors with an open guitar case, microphone, and amp. I say, "there's that young crooner."
I then say, "excuse me bud. Do you take requests?"
He says, "sure. Do you want to hear the Needle and the damage done or mad world?"
I say "uh"

Take care! Maybe I’ll see some of you in Richmond this weekend?

Thanks for reading!
