Hey, folks. Everyone has been very patient as I've taken some time and gotten things in my life better arranged to get back to this comic, which I am still very excited about. Thanks for that!

First of all, above is the current state of the next page of NO RACCOONS IN HELL. I've tried to start it probably at least half a dozen times, and my brain has rejected it until now. I think it was telling me I needed to deal with some other stuff before jumping back into cartooning. I tried again last night, and this time, the layout flowed out, so I'm going to get to work drawing the thing for real this week.
COMMISSIONS
I've done some commissions over the last few weeks. They're available for $25 + shipping at my webstore. If you're a PATREON subscriber at $5 or more, though, check the patreon version of this post so you can get one for free.
They're 5"x7", and will be drawn with ink as well as marker, colored pencil, and/or watercolor. Whatever I want to work in. But it'll be full color!
Here's the webstore link if you want to see more.
Oh, yeah, these will be doubling in price this Sunday.

DIARY COMICS
I've done a few diary comics since we last spoke. I'll go through and figure out what I’ve already shared here and what I haven’t, but here's one of them in the meantime.

LA TIMES BOOK PRIZE JUDGE
I was, for the second year, a judge for the comics division of the LA Times Book Prize. Here's a link to all the winners, but I'll go ahead and tell you that the book we picked was Life Drawing by Jaime Hernandez!

COMIC GARAGE SALE
Also, after being an LA Times Book Prize judge for a couple years, I have more books than bookshelf right now. I have an instagram account where I list comics (by other people) for sale. Currently I've got some recent graphic novels for half of cover price plus shipping. Here's that account if you want to check out what I've got for sale or follow it to see what I list later.
FREE COMIC BOOK DAY?
I'm scheduled to be a vendor at Acme Comics on Saturday as part of their Free Comic Book Day festivities. However, it's looking like it's going to rain all day, and I'm supposed to be outside. Paper and rain, even under a tent, ain't the greatest selling situation, so I'll be keeping an eye on the weather forecast. Check in with me first if you're planning on seeing me there.
Here's a promo image I drew for my (possible) appearance there, featuring not just Val and the Ribbon Cutter, but Jermaine, the owner of Acme Comic, who I like very much, and who appears as one of Val's Exes in Nexus of Exes!

VALS
And as always, I've fit in some sketches when I've had the chance. Here are some recent Vals (and a couple of Toris)!

OK
OK, I'll be back soon with those diary comics, and then back again pretty soon with the new page! Take care!
