BIG CATCH-UP UPDATE!

MEETING COMICS

Hey folks! It’s been a little while! I got sick, I recuperated, I set up at my favorite comic show (NOICE in, Norfolk), I recuperated some more, and before that I didn’t update you for a while because I was just too dang busy in my non-comic life.

CHEAP COMMISSIONS

First of all, for a limited time, I am doing cheap commission drawings. $25 + tax and shipping gets you a full color drawing of one or two of my characters or your favorite corporate IP. My cat Babydoll just had a big ol’ dental procedure and I’d like to not be paying it off forever.

They’ll be on 5×7 cardstock, full color (maybe marker, maybe colored pencil, maybe both). Here’s a recent Zatanna drawing by way of example. There are more examples at the link!

A drawing of Zatanna in ink and marker.

Here’s the link again!

NO RACCOONS

I’ve done one more NO RACCOONS IN HELL page since the last one I wrote about in a newsletter.

Tori and Val hide in a box full of costumes

Here’s a link to my patreon post about this page if you want to read some about the process, and here’s a link to all pages of the issue so far if you want to catch up. Both are free to read.

CLASSIC STYLE MEETING COMICS

I got hung up on NO RACCOONS IN HELL and drew some self-contained Meeting Comics in the classic punchline gag style to get my juice back. Here those are! I’m going to lead with one I did a few months ago because it fits thematically with the others, which are all centered around Kevin and Janice’s life.

Those were drawn just before I realized I was sick, which may be part of why I was having trouble with the No Raccoons pages, which are a bit more intensive! Either way, I enjoyed making them!

DRAWINGS

And here are a few recent drawings, including a couple of Tina and Ellie sketches where I’m trying to work out what they’ll look like in their next comic appearance.

ACTUAL CLASSIC MEETING COMICS

And don’t forget, I’ve set up a site which is running one page of Classic Meeting Comics a day. It’s currently in issue three!

Here’s one from issue two I like a lot. I particularly like Val reacting to the pig.

OK! Take care!

Thanks for reading!
