Walkspace Exhibition! 15-25 October, Nook Gallery, Birmingham

Hello walkers of the West Midlands!

We’re delighted to announce that our second group show as a walking arts co-operative launches this autumn in Birmingham.

Walkspace: Contemporary Walking Art

Our second show: Walkspace: Contemporary Walking Art runs from 15-25th October at •nook• gallery, 25c Institute Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14 7EG. There will be an opening private view and various walkshops to attend.

Be among the first to see the show. You are invited to the private view from 7-9pm on Friday 16 October. See you there!

Artworks are by Walkspace members and cover a range of practices and topics, including: performative drawing, planning policy poetry and the emotions of place, charcoal-penned field notes, a Halloween walk recipe, collages and illustrations of overlooked landscapes, women’s walk safety algorithms, water as photographic lens, and a screenprint of ‘Pecky Blinders’
