Walkspace Erratics for November
Hello Walking Artists and Art-Adjacent Walkers!
This is the Walkspace newsletter, going out to everyone who's given us their email address over the last couple of years.
Thanks to all who braved the storm to come on the Halloween Erratic, walking the Stirchley Skull. Once the rain passed we had a lovely spooky stroll around the back streets looking for gateways from this world to the next.
Everyone made it back in one piece, but we did spot plenty of signs that the boundaries of our reality are gossamer thin. See Skullwalk 2: Eclectric Bugaboo for documented evidence.

This month's Erratic!
Enhanced Wandering, a walk for creativity and wellbeing
With winter coming, and some of our local walking routes exhausted after several lockdowns, the November Erratic, run by Katy Hawkins, is for collecting and sharing tactics for enhancing our wander for wellbeing and creativity.
Tactics to include:
- interacting with trees
- practicing texture curiosity
- drawing as meditation
- using language to notice more...
Katy is interested to hear methods of your own, and hopes to bring all tactics shared and gathered as part of an illustrated booklet, to be posted to contributors.
Starting in Bournville Green @ 1.30pm on Saturday 20th November. The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours followed by optional coffee & cake @ Kafenion
- Bring a notebook and pencil/pen
- Be prepared to take your shoes off
Hope to see some of you there!
