I have had agents report successful tool calls and well-formatted answers where the grain was just off. Folks assumed the answer was right unless they had the tribal knowledge to call BS on it.

For a recent hackathon I built a small data agent template around that problem. The agent cannot reach the warehouse without passing through the catalog and the metric notes first, and when it stops it returns the SQL and the tables it used along with the answer.
