Hey there, !

A social media update as it's been a busy one this week :) low effort but hope you find some levity in the links below <3

wind thunder

Some artwork from Takahashi Murakami - a reimagining of the Wind/Thunder Gods

  1. Self-help, by Matt Haig - a cute little poem

  2. World map - but it's all Australia

  3. It's clever, because it works - how do you get people to RESPECT the zebra crossing

  4. CAT ERA - so all the cat memes work now hehehe

  5. If Matt Berry was in Dune 2 - "Paul Atrayiiedes - you are the Nissan Al Gayeeeeb" HAHAHA

  6. NPC Miles Morales - the NPC trend on TikTok gets funny when this guy has to keep doin' the same tiring thing over and over and over again. What a weird trend, but I mean...get that bag dude

  7. What colour is your birthday? - May 31st is this Grasshopper colour which is a darkish green/brown which looks kinda nice? I'll have to try and find it somewhere.

βœ”οΈReal Life Recommendations

  1. Late Night with the Devil - a really fantastic horror film (which isn't TOO gory) that is set in the 1970's - a late night talk show host tries to bring in some #supernatural elements to his show to bring in the ratings. Shit goes down. It is sufficiently creepy, though not as scary as I thought it would be, and David Dastmalchian was PHENOMENAL in it. Highly recommended, but it may be a bit scary for some!

  2. Nan Yang Express - $10 malaysian lunches in Balwyn that SLAP. I cannot believe there's somewhere that's still so cheap - when are they gonna be raising these prices!? And the quality is great for the value - highly recommended.

🚌 Adventures on the Information Super-Highway

  1. Error Handling in Baby Toys - from an engineering nerd perspective, it's fun to see how they need to navigate around some of this digital stuff and fail states for baby toys.

  2. Wounded orangutan seen using plant as medicine - seeing intelligence in animals is a bit more apparent to me now that I'm livin' with a cat - this is just fascinating to see from an orangutan of all things...how do they know what works? How do they know to apply a poultice like that?! So interesting...

  3. How do you accidentally run for President of Iceland? - the importance of good UX
