219 - holiday review ποΈπ
Hey there, !
A bit of a holiday in review :)
- I made some cute li'l pavlovas for christmas! Berries and all :D Also a lovely serving board from Fat Tuesdays!

- The hydroponics set-up is freakin' THRIVING. This is like 3 - 4 weeks worth of growing?? I didn't do anything except set it up???? Some neural pathways have fully opened up, developed, connected, established to create Agriculture Vince. Or at least, hydroponics Vince. I did my first harvest recently - DELICIOUS.

- The cheong has done better than I thought - yield was about a litre from the 1kg of fruit I put in which is pretty good? I don't know what's typical but it tastes good. It's a very subtle taste - it's not something that's too overpowering, and I've got a lot as you can see below! Serving it with some soda water goes down a treat :D

- Triennial 2024, why not?

-
to be frank bakery - which is situated in Richmond and recommended by my friend Rach - they do these really fun pastries, and more importantly, sell a version of Ted Lasso's shortbread cookies! Look how cute that strawberry danish is π€€π€€π€€ Highly recommended.
-
Geelong Adventure Park - I haven't been here in YEARS; apparently I went when I was a young'un, but coming back as an adult was fun. I usually don't like rides but there were absolutely no lines since it was supposed to rain that day, so big W. Also, there were some of the crunchiest hot chips I've ever had there? So make that 2. Recommended for some family fun :D

A new technology is upending the simple game of bowling - strings in the pins! Rather than the pins being free-standing and being able to clatter all around the area and smash into each other. Is change good? or bad?
-
Remembering things that haven't happened yet - a heart-breakingly beautiful write-up of how to prepare for an uncertain future. I really recommend this read.

Operation Luigi: How I hacked my friend without her noticing - if you're scared of being hacked, you should probably take a look at this! Cos it'll make you more scared and also more vigilant!
