Updates, NADA Wednesdays (+ fundraiser), Acupuncture, and Office Hours

Happy extended-summer / fall, !

I'm writing with some updates!

First, thank you so much to everyone who applied to the Fall 2025 cohort and expressed interest. Unfortunately we didn't end up getting enough members to run the cohort this time. I welcome any feedback or suggestions for what could make this format more accessible for folks.

I'm back to scheming and developing some other offerings. There is definitely a pull towards making this a content-focused project, whether through the newsletter or on social media, but for now I am resisting this pull! I really believe in the offline aspects and in building an off-ramp for folks to get more offline. (Very, even.) So stay tuned on that front.

For now, I wanted to share the ways you can engage with me and this work in the meantime.

NADA Wednesdays

NADA.png

I'm starting weekly NADA circles on Wednesdays this fall.

If you'll recall, these are the same ear acupuncture sessions that were part of the original programming. NADA is a 5 point protocol used for stress, anxiety, trauma, cravings, withdrawal symptoms, and overall grounding. This protocol has a radical history of Black and brown revolutionaries developing non-pharmaceutical interventions for health autonomy, and continues to be widely used today. I've included some links at the bottom for further reading.

These are drop-in style. Booking in advance is preferable to reserve your spot, however you are welcome to walk in as well, contingent on availability.

Wednesdays / 6-7pm / 3 Munro St, Toronto / $20-40 sliding scale

Note: NADA Circles will continue every Wednesday until otherwise noted. Up to date schedule available at echo.noterro.com.

Fundraiser for the Sameer Project

NADA oct8.png

As we enter two years of ongoing gen/osyde, all proceeds raised at the NADA circle on Oct 8th will go to the Sameer Project. The Sameer Project is a donations based initiative led by Palestinians in the diaspora, working to supply aid to displaced families in Gaza.

Please spread the word, and come out if you can. I think this will be a powerful way to share space together and let the wisdom of collective Qi support the processing of all that cannot be processed in this ghastly time. You can make donations directly to the Sameer Project if you're unable to attend.

Book the Oct 8th NADA session to reserve your spot.

Individual Acupuncture

Along with the NADA Circles, I offer individual acupuncture sessions as a registered acupuncturist. Whether it's screen addiction, anxiety or grief, insomnia, pain, or other physical / psycho-emotional concerns, Chinese medicine attunes to the whole person. I practice the Balance System, which is a gentle and effective method that uses points away from the "sick" area to avoid aggravating things further, and is known for its effective and long lasting results. Acupuncture is covered by most insurance benefits. (Use 'em if you have 'em!) If you're curious about working with me, book a 15 min complementary call or come see me for an assessment.

Office Hours for Tech Literacy

Is the internet just a series of tubes? What is AI actually? Don't Google and Meta know everything anyway? Tech literacy is for everyone! I learned a lot through my TMU and SANS training in cybersecurity and in my experience as a security analyst, and I would love nothing more than to share that knowledge with you. While I work out how to share things more broadly in an accessible and sustainable way, you can book me for private office hours in the meantime.

Do you have questions about cybersecurity, privacy, and digital surveillance? Bring your questions and curiosities, we'll break down complex topics, and I'll give you recommendations for tools etc where applicable. There are no 'stupid' questions and this is a welcoming space, regardless of your pre-existing tech knowledge. You can bring a friend or two to split costs. More details at the links below:

Book a 60 min session ($120)

Book a 30 min session ($60)

Okay that's it for me! How about you? Once the weather starts to get colder and we head back indoors, I'm curious if you have inclinations about how you'll support your extra-digital i.e. offline life this fall and winter. I'd love to hear from you.

Until then. See you offline,

-Gunjan
