Fall Applications Open TODAY & Reminder: Offline Social (Aug 26)

Happy Saturday! A short and sweet email today:
First, I'm super excited to announce that Fall 2025 applications are officially OPEN. The next cohort runs weekly on Wednesday evenings from Sep 17th to Dec 3rd 2025. Details are in the application link. First round of applications closes Aug 29 2025.
I'll be sharing more about this 12 week intensive program in the weeks to come. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to give me a shout.
Secondly, a reminder for our last summer event coming up next Tues Aug 26th!
Same idea as last time: Leave your smartphone at home and make your way to Christie Pits.
This may involve thinking through how you'll navigate to the park without relying on Google Maps or up to date TTC info, how you may reach out to someone in case of an emergency, how you'll play music at the park, or take photos, or do any of the other things you rely on your smartphone for. This is meant to provoke some discomfort, awaken your curiosity and problem-solving, maybe invoke some nostalgia. There may be prizes involved. Snacks and drinks provided. Kiddos and dogs welcome. Pre-registration is helpful to get a sense of numbers.
(Disclaimer: if it feels too anxiety inducing or you have extenuating circumstances, of course you know your situation best and pls act accordingly! Maybe leave your phone off or see if you can disable Meta & Google apps for the time being...)
