october days
Hello from the evening hours.
It’s been a while since my last letter. I wanted to write a little hello. I hope you’re all doing well and enjoying some Fall pleasures.
My sister and I have been going for hikes with her doggo, and we’re soaking in all the colorful foliage.
I finally finished my current mini zine, Moonbow 15, after a few weeks’ pause.
I’ve been hanging out on Bluesky lately. The quick mini updates it fosters have matched my minimal-sharing energy lately. I’ve been neglecting my blog, other than a post about my latest zine issue. My writing feels rusty. The same thing happens if I don’t draw or make zines regularly, creativity becomes sticky. It’s ok though, different spaces for different eras of sharing/creating.

I’m still using my Hobonichi Weeks for planning and micro-life logging, and my pocket notebook for journaling. I like how one mini journal lasts roughly about a month.
things I’m loving
X journaling with Alejandra Léon's new-to-me tarot deck, The Lioness Oracle. Her collage work is so so gorgeous, and I can soak in those cards forever.
X discovering new trail hikes around where I live
X watching spooky movies/shows! Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story (loved it) and East of Eden, which isn’t technically a horror, but a hard watch. Florence Pugh is exceptional in this series. (Speaking of the cast, I was just reminded of Christopher Abbot and the possibility of a new Girls season? Is this true?)
X walks around the neighborhood, and seeing all the Halloween decorations
Journaling with the Ten of Pentacles

I’ve been sharing some journaling prompts with cards on Bluesky these past few weeks. Not sure if it’s the right platform/space for it. Perhaps I’ll save it for these letters.
Journaling with the Ten of Pentacles
✨ How can I build connection to my roots?
✨ How can I foster more community where I live?
✨ What family treasures/rituals do I want to continue and keep alive?
✨ What wisdom can I pass down to others?
✨ What does my relationship to money feel like?

Thank you for reading <3
Ps. I apologize if there’s some overlap with the post I wrote on Ko-fi yesterday. I’m still trying to figure out which writing container feels best.
