MARIO KART WORLD 2
I made this game. It’s trying to be a bad game for the bad game jam. I made it in 3 days. It’s funny… I really like it… This game has the biggest world of any of the games I’ve made!! It’s kind of like the picard game but I lost my heart and soul along the way yknow?
I wouldn’t say I really succeeded in making a bad game, this game is bad forsure, BUT was it as bad as I could have made it? Did I just throw crap together with no regard for how well it works? No readers. Hold me tight as I tell you this. My bravery has faltered and I spent time trying to make the game be a certain way. I forced it into this shape, instead of letting it blossom as I watched onward. Some day I will just be a participant and let the game be how it shall be.

My fighting game twins
I’m making 2 fighting games. What’s that you say? “Two? why not make one really fun one?” Nope nope nope. I’m making 2. It’s a very long story that I was actually writing for what was supposed to be this newsletter but then I needed to release Mario Kart World 2.
Anyways here’s the NEWSLETTER EXCLUSIVE sneak preview of one of them. What if a fighting game had infinite lag? It’s a browser game and online and it’s ascii art. Also bring a friend because there is no one else online. And yes it will work on your phone, it just might be a bit awkward. It’s called Punch Pals Offline (Online).
The problem with fighting games is they take FOREVER to balance. It’s like ya ok I can make a system to check hitboxes, but then you gotta make it fun somehow? fuck… This one I’ve been working on since 2019. Holy shit. (and this is the younger one of the two… :<)
