Issue #1 – Welcome to Ctrl+V(ans)
Hi, & welcome,

This is a newsletter where I make sense of the scroll; Dissecting digital culture through the best (and worst) of the internet.
I started this because I’ve always been online. I grew up on YouTube rabbit holes, Tumblr posts, fanfiction forums, and deep dives into corners of the internet that shaped the way I think, feel, and express myself. I’ve always been a consumer—watching, reading, lurking. Occasionally, I’d post something—a tweet, a comment, a fleeting moment of courage—but I mostly stayed in the shadows, quietly obsessed.
That obsession turned into something useful: I became really good at recognizing patterns. I started to notice why certain things caught on, why others didn’t, and how cultural moments—memes, trends, aesthetics, even product launches—gained momentum. Ctrl+V(ans) is my way of turning that quiet skill into something intentional.
This is a space for people like me—people who hyper-fixate on digital culture, who want to understand the chaos instead of just scrolling past it, who see the internet as more than noise. Whether you work in marketing, love internet commentary, or just want to read a smart breakdown of online behavior, I hope this brings you insight—and maybe even a sense of control.
Let’s see what’s worth copying, pasting, or breaking apart.
