November updates - UX Feedback

Updates from the second half of November 2025.

Features released in the last two weeks:

Audio recordings during activities ๐Ÿš€

Bringing one of the most powerful parts of an in-person usability test to the remote setting.

For each test type, there is now an "Enable microphone recording" option. When on, it prompts the user to enable microphone access. This is totally optional and the recordings are only retained for 30 days.

It allows users to talk out loud while sorting cards, ranking items or completing a task. Providing crucial information they wouldn't otherwise type out in the feedback form.

These recordings are available in the results page for the test associated with each user.

Transcriptions ๐Ÿš€

When the audio recording is active, a transcript of the audio will be created in real-time (when possible). It is uploaded with the audio and broken into timestamps.

This information is retained longer than the 30 days of audio. It is searchable and can provide common terminology or patterns at a glance.

Export results ๐Ÿš€

The results are great in the web interface to give an overview, but what if you want to analyze them in a different way? Perhaps pass them into AI or send to others on the team?

An "Export submissions" option will export all the information to Excel. There is a tab created for the summary, raw submissions list, feedback and transcriptions.

Walkthrough videos on YouTube ๐Ÿ“น

Every new feature and progress has a short walkthrough now on YouTube.

This isnโ€™t an extensive list yet, but I have a large backlog of features Iโ€™ve noticed or requested by others.

Donโ€™t be shy, ask away. The app will only get better with your honest feedback.

Talk to you in two weeks! ๐ŸŽ‰

Iโ€™ll be back in your inbox mid-December for another round of updates. ๐ŸŽ‰
