Ramen and movies in Düsseldorf

You are supposed to maximise outdoor time when in a new city. At least that’s how I think. But that’s not what I ended up doing on my trip to Düsseldorf this week.

Well, I did spend time outdoors on the first two days. But on the third day, thanks to the gloomy weather, I spent a lot of time watching a movie on hotel TV. Truth be told, on this trip, I ended up watching a movie each on all three days. Which is, not like me to say the least.

Were all of these worth it? I’d say Apex was the best. Thanks specially to the slick direction and an amazing performance by Taron Egerton.

War machine and the little things were okay, the latter still better than the former.

Apart from this, I think the highlight of the trip was visiting Little Tokyo street and enjoying ramen. I would recommend, if you haven’t been.

I am so happy to have discovered this. Gives me a whole new way to explore and go into depths of wikipedia

A photo I took

Picture of the sculpture 'The photographer' by Christoph Pöggeler. The sculpture is on top of around 3 metre high pillar, is centred in the photo with a backdrop of clear blue sky with clouds. This is flanked on both sides by buildings on either side of the street

That’s it. See you next week. Hope you have a good start to the coming one!
