Upper Valley Connections -Thursday Digest
Upper Valley Connections
Issue No. 3 · March 26, 2026
Your weekly guide to life along the Connecticut River
First full week of spring. The mud is deep, the sap is (still) running, and if you squint at the hillsides you can just start to make out the faint green haze of buds coming in. This week's digest has a good run of events leading into the weekend — and a special section on CSA sign-up season, because now is exactly the right time to lock in your farm share before the good spots fill up.

CSA Season: Farm Shares Open for Sign-Up
When you buy a farm share, you're giving a farmer the upfront capital they need to cover seeds, supplies, and equipment at this critical time of year. No middleman, no guessing — just your community directly backing the people who grow your food. That matters a lot right now.
This week's digest highlights some local farms that are open for sign-ups right now. Every farm is a little different — flexible credit models, pick-your-own, traditional weekly boxes, flower shares, egg shares. Links to sign up are below.
Honey Field Farm · 55 Butternut Lane, Norwich, VT
Certified organic veggies and flowers, with flexible options to match how you eat. New this year: the Perfectly Fine Produce CSA — discounted shares of cosmetically imperfect but delicious organic produce.
- Veggie Bucks (debit-style Free Choice CSA) — shop the farmstand on your schedule
