Six Thinking Hats: considering decisions from different angles
Hi there,
it's Adam from Untools. I hope you enjoyed some time off during the holidays and want to wish you all the best in 2021!
Today, I want to share with you a new thinking tool that will help you make better decisions: Six Thinking Hats.
Well, it's not exactly new because Edward De Bono wrote about it back in 1981 but it's a very useful tool nevertheless.
It's all about looking at your decisions from different angles to make sure you consider all the important factors. You can use it alone but it also works great in group discussions.

And one extra tip for an app that's useful for applying Six Thinking Hats on your own: Antar
It's a free Android app that allows you to set up different personas and have a conversation between them. In this case, each persona can be one thinking hat and you can switch between them to write up your thoughts from every perspective.
I hope you'll find the Six Thinking Hats useful and have a great start of the year!
Until next time,
Adam
