Sun Mar 22 | [untitled games event] #3: "secret handshake"

Something to Reach For + Pigeon: A Love Story + Get Yoked + Joker Jailbreak

Join us on Sunday 22 March 2026 for an evening of games and talks about hopeful optimism in the service of bottomless longing.

The seven(!) works in [untitled games event] edition #3 are all "one half of a secret handshake"—asserting possibilities of solidarity and escape in a world (seemingly) built from the materials of solitude.

Something to Reach For is a short work of gestural poetry about losing something important to you. Pigeon: A Love Story sees you soar above Amsterdam in search of your soulmate. Jingtong Zhu presents a special talk on the games Get Yoked and Please Don’t Feed Me, asking: “what does the perfect body look like?” And in a very special showcase, designer Ramon Huiskamp will present a collection of three evocative solo card games with themes of escape and revolution.

We can’t wait to see you all and experience these works together.

Featured works in edition #2

Something to Reach For, by Outer Plays (Eszter Várhidi & Saskia Joanna Rauhut)

A crosshatched lion is bothered by a yellow hand. "Oh hello!", says text on the screen. "What have you been breathing in?"

A reach-and-grab neighborhood adventure where, in the process of dealing with loss, you may or may not stick your hand into various holes. All you need is a mouse and some decision-making brainpower.

Pigeon: A Love Story, by Wristwork

A pigeon flies across a cityscape bathed in blue-green light.

Find one pigeon among millions in this needle-in-a-haystack sim that's about nothing and everything. Soar across a to-scale replica of Amsterdam in search of your pigeon-shaped soulmate. A slow game built for fast times.

❗This is one of the first times a public audience will get to try Pigeon: A Love Story! A “world premiere” of sorts, with a special Amsterdam-centric demo build.

Get Yoked: Extreme Bodybuilding and Please Don’t Feed Me, by Barking Dogs

An impossible man flexes his impossible muscles to a roaring crowd. Text on screen says "The defending champ" followed by "Gains 100"

Get Yoked is a roguelike deckbuilder game where the goal is difficult: get to GAINS-Town and become an ABSOLUTE UNIT.

Please Don’t Feed Me is a roguelike deckbuilder game where the goal is simple: feed a man 4 pineapples.

❗Presented and introduced by Jingtong Zhu with a special talk titled: “What Does the Perfect Body Look Like?”

Ramon Huiskamp’s Card Games Showcase (+ Talk)

A deck of cards arranged in three columns with the royal cards face-up. A hand is visible in the lower left, pointing at one of the columns.

Three single-deck solo card games designed by Ramon Huiskamp, feat. Joker Jailbreak, Royal Execution, and the forthcoming Single Sequence (Working Title).

Tell all your friends, bring all your friends.
