Hello, Dames Nation! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
On Tuesday, I made a huge mistake: I openly admitted that I need a new laptop, but I did not immediately replace the aging laptop on which I had typed those fateful words. This means that, in the days since, my agéd and infirm laptop has been a whole new level of ornery and hateful just to spite me. You know— real Margo Channing behavior.
Its prolonged temper tantrum just culminated in shutting down abruptly while as I was halfway through putting together tonight’s issue, leaving me with a fair amount of lost work and VASTLY REDUCED WILL TO LIVE. So, for tonight, I am surrendering. I cannot begin climbing this hill anew at 9:58 PM, I am just not built for it. HOWEVER! Tomorrow, I hope by early afternoon, you will receive this week’s issue, a masterpiece synthesizing all the best advice I have recently received on embracing BIG SALAD LYFE, and I am certain it will be worth the wait. Thank you for bearing with me in these trying times— I wish you all peaceful Friday evenings surrounded by thriving, cooperative technology.
