At last! Royal Bébé Boy Sussex has arrived! Dame Sophie has been steadily & faithfully drinking out of her various Royal Wedding & Royal Baby Commemorative Mugs daily for the last couple of weeks in order to help Meghan jumpstart the labor process and just like all other superstitious, quasi-magical thinking efforts, this strategy was 100% effective. The baby is here, is he not? We rest our case!

Harry & Meghan announced their son’s birth via their own Instagram account and via a formal announcement released by Buckingham Palace. We particularly loved this little touch of joy amid the formality: “The Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage.” Can’t you just feel the grandmotherly happy dance happening from here? I like to imagine Prince Charles & Camilla popping round to Frogmore with a celebratory bottle of prosecco for a toast with Doria.
