Bridging communities and open science

Explore The Turing Way Book and connect with us via our start page.

August has been a quiet month, full with opportunities to slow down and rest intentionally. Yet, we still have some news and opportunities to share with our community ☀️

Fireside chats, SSI fellowship and some important dates for the Turing Way project… scroll down and have a look!

One thing you don’t want to miss our is our next Turing Way Community Forum, happening on the 19th September at 15:00-16:30 UTC+1. Community Forums bring together members of The Turing Way community - including people who have not yet contributed to the project. Modelled off a political town hall event, these online sessions are an opportunity to better understand activities across the project and how decisions are made. Register here and participate!

Enjoy… and keep the conversations coming!

We understand that another world is possible—not because we believe in utopias, but because we refuse to accept dystopia as our destiny.

🔥 Our Fireside Chat Series keeps going strong this September!

Please share on Bluesky, Linkedin, Twitter, and Mastodon

We look forward to seeing you there!

You can also find the recording of our previous July session on Distributed, Collaborative and Decentralised Governance Models in the Participatory Research in our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much to featuring Angela Okune (The Climate Sensitive Infectious Disease Network, CSID Network), Eunice Mercado-Lara (Open Research Community Accelerator, ORCA), Denisse Albornoz (Engine Room) and Amethyst Carey (Breathing Room). Thanks to Alexandra Araujo for providing support with online facilitation.
