The Turing Way out in the world 🚀

Batool Almarzouq delivered a fantastic talk at OpenFest2025 on How "dependency theory" explains Open Science's funding crisis. This was a great view of her important work and LOTS OF FOOD FOR THOUGHT if you are working on open science. Check the slides on Zenodo

A special shout-out to Esther Plomp, who raised the vital question of why CReDIT is not enough, and how we still fall short in addressing the roots of academic inequity. Her beautiful slides are available here

Precious Onyewuchi referenced the Turing Way Accessibility Policy at the CHAOSSCon Africa event in August. Check the video here !
Her talk, “Accessibility = Consideration,” was inspired by this prior blog post https://lnkd.in/dhHYiksF.
