What's new since beta + upcoming Product Hunt launch!

Hello,

Brendan here – creator of TunnlTo.

I put this newsletter together as a simple way to keep you updated on what’s happening with TunnlTo – new features, improvements, and general progress. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of the email.

Huge thanks to everyone who’s shared feedback or supported TunnlTo with a Premium purchase so far – it really helps keep the project moving forward.

Just a quick heads-up – I’ll be launching TunnlTo on Product Hunt soon. It’s a big step for TunnlTo, and I’d love your support when the time comes.

You don’t need to do anything right now, but I’ll send out the link on launch day. If you want to be ready to comment or share, you can create a Product Hunt account so it’s ready to go.

Thanks again for being part of the journey so far!

What's happened since the beta?

If you haven’t tried TunnlTo in a while:

  • All the features from the original TunnlTo are now ported across to the new version and free for personal use, including:
    • System tray menu
    • Auto-connect on startup
    • Config import
  • Mandatory sign-in has been removed
  • Many bug fixes – especially for systems using non-English display languages

TunnlTo Premium and building a solid foundation

Instead of cranking out new features every week (and risking stability), I’ve been focused on making sure the foundation of the app is solid. A lot of the work has been behind the scenes, but it’s all about keeping things reliable while improving the experience for both casual and power users. Each release is tested carefully to catch issues early and keep things running smoothly. Hopefully that groundwork pays off in the updates to come.

Features for business and power users:

We’ve introduced TunnlTo Premium – designed for supporters, power users, and commercial use. Premium includes:

  • Direct email support with the developer
  • Automatic access to new premium features
  • Virtual adaptor mode
  • Proxy support
  • WireGuard command execution
  • Windows notifications for tunnel status

You can find out more at https://tunnl.to

We’ve also partnered with the creator of Wiresock to offer simple, straightforward business pricing. TunnlTo Business Premium now includes a Wiresock commercial license, so you can be fully compliant with just one simple transaction.

Improvements to stability and usability:

  • Added beta/stable channels for auto-updates
  • Improved connection state monitoring
  • Improved error handling
  • Performance tweaks and better memory usage

Support and GitHub

I’m gradually moving the project away from relying on GitHub for issue tracking and discussions. During the beta phase, it was clear that handling support and feedback through GitHub made it difficult to communicate effectively with a global audience across different backgrounds, tech skill levels, and languages. For now, I’m keeping things simple – if you have any feedback or need support, just send me an email.

Basic support for the TunnlTo app is available to all users, covering installation issues and getting the app up and running.

For support with WireGuard connections, tunnel configuration, or advanced setup, please note that this is included with TunnlTo Premium.

Thanks again for being part of this journey. Your feedback and support genuinely help guide the project – and I'm excited to keep making TunnlTo better every month.

The next email will include the Product Hunt launch link – I’d love your support when it goes live!

Cheers,
Brendan
