Balticon And Book Publication!
This is not the May newsletter.
I have a few announcements that I don’t want to wait until newsletter time to tell you! Mostly because one of them will be over by then.
FIRST!
I will be at Balticon from Friday May 24 through Monday May 27! I am attending as a fan and as a program participant; if you see me in the halls, please feel free to talk to me.
My schedule is very exciting. I’m on five panels total.
Book Covers for Indie Authors @ 11:30am Saturday
Breaking Up With Your Inner Critic @ 2:30pm Saturday
Tools To Manage Creativity @ 11:30am Sunday
Paranormal Romance @ 1pm Sunday
Slash of Our Ancestors: A History of Fanfic @ 7pm Sunday
I can’t wait!
I will have copies of books with me as well, and some promotional materials for Finding Their Roots. Which brings me to my next topic…
SECOND!
Finding Their Roots is published and live! The ebook is everywhere it should be, and the paperback and hardcover are currently available on Amazon. The paperback will also be available from other markets in the future. And I’ve set the ebook up to be available for library purchase, so if you’re interested in that, check to see if your library can obtain it!
You can check out all the places to pick it up at https://www.books2read.com/FindingTheirRoots.
If you do buy a paperback copy and would like a signed bookplate and a bookmark, and are comfortable sharing your mailing address, please drop me a note and show me your copy (you can respond to this email!) and I would be happy to send you those!
I totally understand that not everyone is in a position to buy a book right now, and while libraries are a great way to read, there is another option, too!
THIRD!
From May 19th through June 18th, there are giveaways running on both StoryGraph and Goodreads for copies of Finding Their Roots.
On StoryGraph, I am giving away 30 copies of the ebook, available to any countries SG supports via in-app download. I am also giving away 2 signed hardcover proof copies to US residents only.

Take your chances! Tell your friends and add the book to your to-read lists on both systems.
But most of all, I hope you check out and enjoy Colin’s story. <3
And now I am off to pack books and promotional materials for Balticon, then work on some panel prep!
Take care, all.
