FYI – European Fashion, Beauty & Luxury market will likely grow by 5% in 2025
Cross Border Commerce just published a new edition of their Top 500 Fashion, Beauty & Luxury Retail Europe report.
The total (on- and offline) Fashion, Beauty & Luxury trade is valued at €719 billion and is expected to grow by 2% by 2025. The EU’s (27+UK) online Fashion and Beauty market (including luxury) achieved a turnover of €213 billion in 2023, of which €82 billion was cross-border. This market is projected to reach €224 billion by 2024-25, marking a 5% growth.
For 2023 we clearly see that fashion has the highest share in that segment.
It’s also interesting to understand the overall distribution between retailers and marketplaces.
Overall, things are growing, which is a good sign.
