Agent Pitch Sessions!
Next Monday, March 9th, we will open sign-ups for sessions with our Agent Guest of Honour, Kurestin Armada of Root Literary! These 15 minute sessions give you an opportunity to work 1-on-1 with the excellent Kurestin. This is your opportunity to ask all your burning questions, workshop your pitch, present your materials for critique, or even pitch your project!
Kurestin Armada spent time as an assistant at The Lotts Agency before becoming a literary agent at P.S. Literary in 2015. She then joined Root Literary in 2020, where she partners with storytellers who combine artistry with the drive to build a lasting body of work. Kurestin is based in New York City and spends most of her time in the city’s thriving indie bookstores. She specializes in science fiction and fantasy, as well as graphic novels for all ages; some of her recent titles include the Hugo award-winning Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh and Hello Sunshine by Rosalie Lin.
These sessions will be limited in number and given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Be ready on March 9th!
More Blue Pencil Cafe Sessions!
We are thrilled to add Norm Nehmetallah of Invisible Publishing to our Blue Pencil Cafe pitch and editorial sessions! Norm will be taking a limited number of novel pitches, or you can bring materials to your session for critique, questions, or chat! Sign-ups are on the webpage now!
Kaffeeklatsch Sign-Ups Still Open!
These 45-60 minute “coffee dates” will be held at Trident Booksellers & Cafe with a small group: your chosen author and 3-7 others. The Kaffeeklatsch includes one Free Drink voucher for the cafe.
Chat, ask questions, make friends–the only thing we ask is that you are respectful, mindful, and kind!
Sign ups available for:

Isaac Fellman (The Two Doctors Górski, Notes from a Regicide)
Terese Mason Pierre (Myth, As The Earth Dreams (ed.))
