Spring 2023 Thrift Crawl!
Hey, everyone!
The survey I sent shows a preference for February 11 as the date of the Thrift Crawl! Here are the details as they currently stand:
1PM on Saturday February 11, meet at Stuff, Etc., 851 Hwy 6 E, Iowa City, IA 52240. Let's plan to meet inside the store near the front, in case the weather is poor.
At 2PM, we'll move on to the nearby Crowded Closet. Since we'll be on the move, please text me (319-541-0073) if you're trying to catch up with us.
At 3PM, we'll move on to the nearby Goodwill.
We'll wrap up and say our goodbyes around 4pm. No pressure to do the whole crawl, but it's gonna be fun!
Please talk to me or Kestrel if you have any concerns or questions. The goal of this is to have some gender expression fun, and to be present in our trans community. If you have friends who want to play with gender or gender presentation, please let them know about this. Regular attendance at Transistors if definitely not a requirement!
These are public spaces so we can't enforce our code of conduct BUT the Transistors facilitators will be operating as safety officers, so if anything happens during this event that concerns you, please talk to one of us immediately. We're in this together.
