Picnic and Swimming!
Hey Transistors!
School is out (for most) and we are finally getting some nice weather! With that in mind, here's two events to be aware of.
PICNIC! Alex has booked a shelter at City Park on Saturday July 1st, from 11am to 4pm. We're planning on doing it potluck-style, and we'll have more details as it gets closer. Put it down on your calendar, friends!
SWIMMING. The city only rents out the City Park outdoor pool during the summer, so if we want to do a swim, we'll have to book a pool party there. Please click here to see the available times, at least through July. It's $240, so we'll take donations from those who can give, once we pick a time and make a reservation. Let's discuss this at our next meeting.
As always, these events are centering trans/GNC lives, so anyone under that umbrella is welcome. Allies are will be welcome if they talk to a facilitator (Alex or me) first, so we can assess the safety level. Please email or talk to us if you have more questions.
