Un o’r pethau rydym yn pwysleisio yn ein hadroddiad yw nad yw “digidol” yn ymwneud â thechnoleg yn unig. Mae Nia yn myfyrio ar iaith digidol yn ein blogbost newydd.

Nawr mae angen i ni ddysgu sut i'w harfer: sut i arwain, trefnu a gwneud penderfyniadau mewn ffyrdd gwirioneddol ddigidol, wedi'u canoli ar anghenion defnyddwyr. Oni bai bod ein timau, ein diwylliant, ein strwythurau a'n harferion arweinyddiaeth yn esblygu hefyd, dim ond geiriau y maent yn parhau i fod.”

Mae StatsCymru wedi lansio gwefan newydd i wneud ystadegau swyddogol Llywodraeth Cymru yn haws eu darganfod, eu harchwilio a’u hailddefnyddio. Mae’r ailgynllunio’n canolbwyntio ar hygyrchedd, llywio clir a safonau data agored – camau pwysig tuag at wybodaeth gyhoeddus fwy tryloyw ac sy’n canolbwyntio ar ddefnyddwyr.

Adeiladu’n ddwyieithog o’r cychwyn cyntaf
Wrth drafod StatsCymru, mae postiad diweddaraf Marvell Consulting yn galw am wneud gwasanaethau digidol dwyieithog yn safon, nid yn eithriad. Gan dynnu ar eu profiad ymarferol, mae’r erthygl yn egluro beth mae hynny’n ei olygu mewn gwirionedd – sef ymgorffori dylunio iaith Gymraeg ym mhob cam o ddatblygu gwasanaeth, nid dim ond cyfieithu ar y diwedd.

Cynorthwyydd dylunio cynnwys AI Llywodraeth Cymru
Mae Uned Wasanaethau Digidol Llywodraeth Cymru wedi rhannu prototeip agored o gynorthwyydd dylunio cynnwys wedi’i bweru gan AI. Mae’n arbrawf cynnar ar ddefnyddio deallusrwydd cynhyrchiol i gefnogi cynnwys cliriach a dwyieithog. Er mai gwyddonwyr data a’i datblygodd, gobeithiwn y bydd yn sbarduno trafodaeth werthfawr am sut beth yw “da”, a sut y gall AI gynorthwyo (nid disodli) dylunwyr cynnwys medrus.

Mae cyfieithu AI yn peryglu ‘rhan o gyfoeth ein hiaith’
Mae BBC Cymru Fyw yn tynnu sylw at y potensial a’r tensiynau ym myd ddigidol Cymru – o drafodaethau am AI mewn addysg i’r diddordeb gynyddol mewn arloesedd technolegol y tu allan i Gaerdydd. Mae’r sgyrsiau hyn yn adlewyrchu cwestiynau ehangach am sut mae Cymru’n adeiladu capasiti digidol sydd wedi’i wreiddio’n lleol ond wedi’i gysylltu’n genedlaethol.

Defnyddio AI i helpu diagnosio dementia – y cyntaf yn y DU, wedi’i arwain o Gymru
Mae Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Aneurin Bevan wedi dod yn gyntaf yn y DU i dreialu deallusrwydd artiffisial i helpu diagnosio dementia. Gobeithir y bydd y dull hwn yn byrhau amseroedd aros ac yn lleihau’r angen am driniaethau ymledol. Cefnogir y treial gan Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymru, gan adeiladu ar gryfder Cymru mewn ymchwil a chyfleoedd arloesol ym maes meddygaeth.

Dadlau dros gyllid Technocamps
Mae Nation Cymru yn adrodd ar y ddadl ynghylch cyllid Technocamps, wedi i brifysgolion Cymru golli allan i ddarparwr o Loegr. Mae’r penderfyniad wedi codi pryderon am ddyfodol addysg cyfrifiadura a darpariaeth sgiliau digidol yng Nghymru, yn enwedig ar gyfer ysgolion a rhanbarthau sydd eisoes dan wasanaeth.

Dylunio gwasanaethau hygyrch i ddefnyddwyr BSL
Mae Kainos yn rhannu egwyddorion ar gyfer dylunio gwasanaethau sy’n gweithio i ddefnyddwyr Iaith Arwyddion Prydain (BSL) – o gyd-ddylunio i fformatau cyfathrebu hygyrch. Mae’n ddarlleniad defnyddiol i unrhyw un yng Nghymru sy’n gweithio tuag at y rheoliadau hygyrchedd newydd a gwasanaethau mwy cynhwysol.

The language of digital
One of the things we stress in our report is that digital is not just about technology. Nia reflects on the language of digital in our new blog post.
“Learning the language of digital is only the first step. Now we need to learn the practice of it: how to lead, organise, and make decisions in genuinely digital ways, centred around user needs. Unless our teams, culture, structures, and leadership habits evolve too, they remain just words.”

Launch of the new Stats Wales website
Stats Wales launched a new website to make official Welsh Government statistics easier to find, explore and reuse. The redesign focuses on accessibility, clear navigation and open data standards, important steps towards more transparent, user-centred public information.

Building bilingually by default
On the topics of Stats Wales, Marvell Consulting’s latest blog post calls for bilingual digital services to be the standard, not the exception. Drawing on their practical experience, the post sets out what it means to embed Welsh language design into every stage of service development, not just translation at the end.

Welsh Government AI content design assistant
The Welsh Government Digital Service Unit shared an open prototype of an AI-powered content design assistant. It’s an early experiment in using generative AI to support clearer, bilingual content. While the tool was developed by data scientists, we hope it will prompt valuable discussion about what good looks like, and how AI can assist (not replace) skilled content designers.

AI used to help diagnose dementia – a UK first led from Wales
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has become the first in the UK to trial artificial intelligence in diagnosing dementia. It’s hoped this approach will cut waiting times and spare patients invasive procedures. The trial is supported by Health and Care Research Wales, building on Wales’s strong track record in medical research and innovation.

The Centre for Digital Public Services stresses that digital transformation is about people, culture and processes, not just tools. It advises that choosing the right technology helps teams build services that improve lives and deliver public value, while poor decisions can lead to technical debt, vendor lock‑in and barriers to accessibility and security.
