a Postcard from Paris (which is not dangerous, despite the news)
Hi friend,
It’s been a while since I’ve managed to reach out — how are you?
I’m home in Paris, and have been since late January, quietly puttering around my apartment. Recently I’ve been taking long walks to shake off the day, dodging piles of trash and the aftermath of the protests.
The last two months have been a lot of resting, cleaning and nourishing myself. Typically, a few weeks in this mode would bring spikes of restlessness and dread. But in enjoying the stillness of home, I realized that I’ve been taking the space needed to be present for my learning arc on trauma-informed collaboration. Space to gently cup discomfort in both hands, and not look away. It's been a good winter.
Next though, spring. I felt a warm breeze from the kitchen window today and knew that it’ll soon be time to start venturing out again.

News and invitations
Emotions at Work is a group coaching program that I host with my friend and fellow coach Oriana LaVilla. We are stepping out from behind an invite-only curtain to welcome a small group from May. Check my website and get in touch to learn more. It would be wonderful to have you join us.
I contributed an essay to Women Talk Design’s upcoming book, “Present Yourself: A Public Speaking Book”. They ran a great Kickstarter campaign, and I'm looking forward to the buzz of publication, too.
I had the opportunity to help Invest in Open Infrastructure run a community experiment to build an alternative funding mechanism for open research infrastructure. Check out their write-up if you're interested in these topics, there's a lot of resources on their site, too.
In April, I’m participating in a four-day Art of Hosting training in Hungary. After many years of following their work online, I'm excited to finally join an in-person experience. Registration is still open! The calling question is: “What more is possible if we practice togetherness and active hope to build collective resilience? How can we strengthen our ability to act and create the changes we long to see?”.

A neighborhood theater, which I go for the building as much as the programming.
