Well, hello there!
Writing regularly sounded easy for a while.
I genuinely thought I'd start the craziest and best Dad blog of all time once we had a kid. Then she got here.
And with regards to Dad blogs -- I'd much rather spend the extra time playing with her than talking about playing with her. And seeing her squeal with delight when she gets to play with Legos (yeah, we pluralize it) is way better than being popular online.
For real though -- today, we played with real "big kid" type Legos, and she was so excited. 😍
What to write about
I have a lot of things queued up. Here are some headlines, for example:
ProtonMail deletes "we don't log your IP" statement from their website.
Previous devs for TikTok and Snap launch a music creation app.
How to make a Netflix style documentary.
WhatsApp moderators can read your messages.
How does an air fryer work?
A quick explainer about why folks are getting noisy about recent Apple privacy/child-protection stuff.
And like 500 more things.
Alas...
I've barely been reading beyond headlines lately. I just haven't taken the time.
Anticipation List
But here's some stuff I'm looking forward to, and if you want to talk about any of this or share your own "anticipation list", I'd love to hear it:
Season 2 of "Kid Cosmic" came out, and I'm very excited to watch it. If you haven't heard me talk about it before... well, let's catch up.
Seeing Back To The Future in a theater, for Laura's birthday this month. (And generally celebrating Laura).
Taking Elizabeth to the zoo, for the first time since she's been an official "toddler". (And like a billion other Elizabeth-centric things; Toddlers are fun.)
Fixing the archive download script for my secret "magic/illusion" YouTube playlist. 😱
Hanging out with other remote team members, and "Oklahomies", for our staff "Family Reunion".
Huh. 300 words, and just one link.
