😱 Tommy’s back!

An Email Experiment

Welcome back friend!

Remember when we used to write (almost) weekly?

Whew! How the world has changed since March!

Elizabeth is about to turn ONE YEAR OLD!

I always thought that the moment I learned Laura was pregnant I would start the worlds most active Dad Blog. Alas, I’ve been too busy watching her be the cutest tiny human (and I, learning to be the best dad) I decided — who cares about having the best blog? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Heck, I even stopped sending emails to you for a while! 😬😅

“Your daily habits are taking you somewhere. Is it where you want to go?”

Ouch. Saw that quote recently. Similar to the famous question posed by a magnificent poet.

Speaking of music

This is a bop. I don’t even remember what that song is about, but it came up tonight, and “that song is a bop!” is what I said. I vowed then to include it here!

… okay, but actually— music!

I (finally) released an album on all the services and places you listen to and buy (digital) music!

It’s from my project Cuatro Cuatro Cero. The one where I was live-streaming improvisational sound scapes and ambient tunes.

Since I might not remember which is your favorite service, I made a post that links to all the most popular places where you can listen.

Anticipation

What’s something you’re looking forward to? I’m looking forward to finally seeing Season 4 of The Good Place. (Laura told me it was on Netflix and I gasped to hard I choked. I’ve been waiting!)

Nothing comes to mind? Let me know, I’ve got some prompts.

I’ve been inspired for a long time to keep a better list of Things I’m Looking Forward To, but I keep forgetting or just not bothering. I think it’s important and useful, especially these days. So… I’m gonna make that list soon. More on that later? :)

Videos

  • Old school Cookie Monster being absolutely savage (and then a bit manipulative!?) to Kermit The Frog.
  • Vulfpeck playing live at Madison Square Garden.
  • This YouTube series on the concept of time might explode your brain.

That’s a lot of words

… and I’m just getting warmed up!

Hope you have a great week!
