It’s meeeee

I wrote a few drafts that never went out, since the last email I sent to this itty bitty list. But I was overthinking.

So, let’s just catch up from here 😬😅

(Editing Tommy: this turned into a lot of potential “draft” ideas and little substance. Better to publish than not, I think. Catching up is weird sometimes.)

New stuff 🆕

I posted several new things on my website.

• Finally, began the slow process of cleaning up and posting some audio/music sample packs, and custom Ableton devices.
• Quickly wrote and published a few posts on the blog. Nothing in particular, they’re all right here.

Hobbies 🎸💻💿👾

Winter has been a slow season for making music, so instead:

• 💻 I bought a low power, mini PC (off lease corporate machine on eBay!) for self-hosting some web projects from my house. “Homelab” nerd stuff.
• 🕸️ Tinkering with some “directory site” ideas that I would love to monetize just enough to pay a couple bills. More on that later, I hope.
• 🤖 Keeping up with modern AI/LLM news. 🙃 It’s a lot.
• 📳 Revisiting some social-tech ideas I’ve had.
• 💍🤴 I read the Lord of the Rings trilogy in December/January. Second time in life. It was different, and still cool. Lots I had forgotten. This also got me back into lots of Lord Of The Rings lore videos on youtube.

Fam 🏡

E will be starting kindergarten this year! I can’t handle that. 😅

She’s the most fun kid there is, and we are definitely beginning the “this creature has its own ideas” phase of life.

Anticipation 👀

I’m looking forward to: Laura returning from a trip. And some time off work around our upcoming anniversary.
