I think it's the first time ever I have spent $100+ bucks at a restaurant!

Just went to Gitanes last night and ended up spending $100 for their dining experience. This did not include the cost of the drinks.

Here are some of my thoughts.

I haven't been to many French restaurants but I think this one has a nice/quiet atmosphere. You can easily talk to people, and the location would be good for special occasions.

Food quality is good and I didn't have to wait too long either.

Would I say it was worth spending $100 per person? That's where I would find it hard to answer for now; usually something similar would cost about half at another restaurant.

But I need to go and visit other expensive restaurants in Ottawa to finalize my opinion on this one.
