ART

I’ve been in art for the last several years, specifically colored pencil drawing and acrylic painting. My focus is on landscape portraits and abstract images. This past week, I produced an acrylic painting called “Alone in a Blue Sanctuary,” an 11” x 14 acrylic on a cradled wood panel with a 1.5” profile.

“Alone in a Blue Sanctuary”

My inspiration stemmed from the idea of finding peace in being alone sometimes. Now and then, it’s good for the soul to find some alone time to decompress and recharge our mental and emotional batteries. No matter how long, getting away from it all is an opportunity for self-reflecting, exploring ideas, and discovering creativity. We all need a sanctuary for solitude.
