Good morning. It’s Tuesday, April 22nd. A lipogram is a fancy term for a type of writing that avoids one letter. Read about one writer who managed to write a 50,000-word novel without once using an “e.”

4. A NOVEL WITHOUT THE LETTER “E”

In 1939, author Ernest Vincent Wright published Gadsby, a 279-page novel of over 50,000 words. The story is about a man on a mission to revitalize his town. But the real kicker is that Wright wrote his book without ever using the letter “E.”  Try writing anything without using it. Wow,  I just did.
