A Gentleman's a Bestseller

WE DID IT! A Gentleman’s Gentleman hit the USA Today bestseller list at #67 (which is so close to the FUN number, but I guess I shouldn’t wish for a demotion).
Thank you, the person reading this newsletter, for helping make this happen. Readers, librarians, booksellers, my team at Vintage—I really do consider this a win that takes a village. Mostly I feel invigorated. People do want trans stories right now; it’s not too late.
Some AG’sG housekeeping:
I’ll be at Astoria Bookshop for a Trans Day of Visibility fete with Joanna Lowell and Sarah MacLean on March 31. Please wear a mask! Trans liberation = community care.
On April 5, I’ll be at the fairly new Fountain Bookshop in uptown Manhattan to sign books. The shop is ALSO an ice cream parlor and I can personally vouch for its tastiness.
If you’re reading A Gentleman’s Gentleman in a book club, my publisher just put out a book club kit for you to download.
Fun links just for you:
meta tries to keep tell-all book out of the news so I will be reading it
my most famous tumblr post is making the rounds again
remember: nuns don’t work on Sundays
the trans rights readathon ends March 31, tho I’ll read trans books & give a trans woman $100 any time of year
we are gonna [redacted] that old man
this is why I don’t mess with substacks
Thanks for reading!
