Funny thing about today’s posts - These are all things I’ve had to google in the last month 😋

 

1. use-onclickoutside by Mateusz Burzyński

React hook for listening for clicks outside of an element. Useful for buildings modals, tooltips, popups and the rest of the family.

2. How to use Throttle or Debounce with React Hook by John Au-Yeung

Short and to the point! I’ve bookmarked it for next time.

3. Improving slow mounts in React apps by Aggelos Arvanitakis

There are a million articles out there focusing on how you can make your app faster by removing unnecessary re-renders & preventing unneeded component updates , but none of them talks about the one necessary render: the initial mount.
