Tim's Blog: "Video: Daily Obsidian template"

New blog post from Tim available on 0×5.uk:

Video: Daily Obsidian template

I have moved to Obsidian as you may have seen in my previous post, and having settled in for a while I have now got a basic daily note template that's working for me.

You can see the demo on youtube:

It's as simple as this but is working remarkably well even in this basic form:

---
client: example-client
billable-days:
---

# personal
-
# side hustle
-
# consulting biz
-
# [[1_Projects/example_client_project|project-foo]]
- goals
  1.
- [ ] vpn up
- triage
  - [ ] slack
  - [ ] email
  - [ ] github
- 📅 9:45 standup
  -
-

## standup notes for tomoz

- moving
- handled / merged to main
- hard-blockers

# quick capture to sort

Even though I'd rather use a FOSS tool, Obsidian is a good place to experiment with the art of the possible in markdown PKMS (Personal Knowledge Management System) / Productivity tooling.
