Herbs galore, and tomatoes on the horizon
Hello!
This week we have:
- Komatsuna
- Perilla
- Parsley
- Shiso
- Scallions
And… tomatoes are on the horizon! A handful of our sungold cherry tomatoes are ripe, with more on the way, and pretty soon—if not this week, then next, we’ll be putting pints in the farmstand. Our slicers are picking up some color too; we ate the very first ripe one in a salad with some of our own Thai basil and a peach we got at market, all tossed with this so-good-on-everything dressing.(This photo is actually from last week. That edge has been weeded and the tomatoes are much further along.)
