Farmstand OPEN!

Hello!
The farmstand is open again! If you drop by, you’ll notice that we are under construction. We plan to be finished by the end of the month, but for now, if you don’t mind stepping up into a partially finished structure (the critical parts are done, i.e. it’s safe to enter), you will find:
Baby bok choy
Komatsuna
Salad mix
Stir-fry mix

About our expansion: Over the last year, as more people started visiting the farmstand, we realized that it didn’t serve all our needs. It was more of a shed to house the cooler than a functional place to store and display vegetables. So, we applied for and received a grant from the Tilth Alliance to expand, and asked a highly experienced and skilled local carpenter (he’s been working with wood since he was 4 years old, he told us) if he would lead the project, with Steven and me working under him. We were thrilled that he agreed.
After four days of steady work that included dismantling most of the old structure, the farmstand went from a covered platform to a soon-to-be-enclosed space. We hope it will be a better farmstand experience for all of you and more-protective area for all of our produce, especially summer’s bounty of tomatoes and eggplants and our fall harvest of winter squash.
Hope you’ve all enjoyed the beautiful sunshine over the past week!
Elizabeth
